Ottawa Art Gallery fosters connections between artists and the diverse members of our broader community.
Text by Andrea Fatona
This catalogue was published in conjunction with Fibred Optics, an OAG exhibition that highlighted four artists whose work incorporates natural and synthetic fibres, old and new technologies, and methodologies from the world of craft and contemporary art. Comprised of two booklets that have been hand bound together, this publication features a text by Andrea Fatona and explores how artists Frances Dorsey, Jérôme Havre, Ed Pien, and Michèle Provost employ fibre to convey a variety of narratives.
