I am an Ottawa-based artist, veteran, and cancer survivor. Under the name TangentPens, I create handcrafted writing instruments that embody resilience, precision, and artistry. Each pen is shaped by hand, resulting in unique pieces that balance function with beauty.

Having experienced the discipline of military service and the vulnerability of surviving cancer, my practice is rooted in transformation — turning raw materials into art, and lived experience into objects imbued with meaning. TangentPens celebrate durability, creativity, and the human impulse to leave a mark.
