Dead Nature / La Vie Immobile

This catalogue was published in conjunction with an exhibition of contemporary art that explored the still-life genre and its relationship to the work of Montreal-based photographer Louis Joncas, Montreal-based multi-disciplinary artist Rachel Echenberg, and Toronto-based coneceptual artist Kelly Mark. Positioning still-life as one of the most experimental and, at times, comic visual art genres, this exhibition text features seventeen colour illustrations, biographical information, and an essay by curator Emily Falvey.
